Volumetric Dosers

A completely automatic microprocessor control evaluates and controls the metering screw rotation speed and dosing time once the percentage and shot weight have been entered, for injection moulding, or total throughput in an extrusion process.

The dosing unit is matched and mounted to either a static mixer (MS or TS) or an electric paddle mixer (MIX).

There are 3 dosing units (DOSA models) with additive throughputs from 0.2 to 280 kg/hr

Dosing stations may be configured with up to 4 DOSA units installed into a single Mixer and controlled by a single control panel

The easy to use control panel allows three operating modes:

1. Fully automatic. Once the product shot weight and additive percentage have been entered the controller will calculate the metering screw speed, which will operate during plastisizing

2. Manual mode: Both the metering screw speed and operating duration may be entered manually. Start of plastisizing then activates the dosing cycle

3. Semi automatic. Only the metering screw speed is entered, the doser will then operate at the set speed during plastisizing

Optional equipment includes:

• Level control
