The Amies group was founded in 1929 in Sheffield by Bill Amies and the company now has a range of the latest, modern, moulding machines that facilitates manufacture to the finest quality and tolerance from a wide range of technical engineering polymers.

Frigosystem’s RACA PLUS ENERGY chillers are designed to fully satisfy any application need thanks to a complete range of models, versions and configurations. In fact, RACA PLUS ENERGY is available in total recovery (R) and guarantee high efficiency even at partial load.

Other features include:-

  • Refrigerant gas R410c – TRIPLE CLASS A – high energy saving
  • Mid to large range capacity chillers for outdoor installation
  • Nominal cooling power from 50 to 1100 kW
  • Multicircuit & multi-compressor suitable for installation in any climatic area of the world

Industrial chillers

The latest chillers, two RACA + Energy models, supplied by Intelicare but manufactured by Italian company Frigosystem S.r.l in Italy have been added to one acquired some time ago to provide cold water for the mould shop for hydraulic cooling and mould conditioning. The two additional chillers are part of the continued growth of Amies and also provide flexibility to cope with additional demand and the control of cooling water temperature which is crucial for end product quality.
